WASH HANDS & CLEAN EAR: Wipe the outside of the ear with 70% rubbing alcohol and let it dry. Remove any earrings before applying ear seeds, as they may interfere with placement.

APPLY EAR SEEDS: Using the tweezers provided, place each ear seed on the chosen point on one or both ears and press gently to secure.

Ear seeds can be applied to one ear or both — research shows that both methods are effective. For children or sensitive individuals, applying to one ear at a time is recommended. If possible, have someone you trust assist with the application for comfort and accuracy.

STIMULATE EAR SEEDS: Ear seeds work without stimulation, but results improve if you press or massage each seed gently for at least 30 seconds, 2 times per day.

REMOVE: After 2–3 days, remove the ear seeds with tweezers. (They may stay on for up to 5 days if the adhesive is still intact.)

Clean ears and reapply new ear seeds: If applying to just one ear, alternate sides every 3-5 days.

1. LOCATE POINT

Use your AcuKITS™ Acupressure Cards to locate each point.

When you’ve found the correct spot, it will often feel sensitive or mildly sore — a good sign you’re in the right place.

MASSAGE THE POINT

Using your thumb or fingertip, apply gentle but firm pressure. It should feel slightly achy or tender, but not painful.

Massage in slow, small circles for 1–2 minutes.

REPEAT

Work both sides twice daily.

You may massage both sides of the body at the same time.

Results from ear seeding can vary widely from person to person; some individuals may notice immediate effects shortly after application, while others might see gradual changes developing over the course of a few days. For those dealing with chronic or more severe health concerns, it may take several weeks before significant improvements become apparent.

If you are feeling any discomfort after applying the seeds, remove them or apply less pressure when massaging them as to not damage the skin.

Some auricular points may feel more tender or sensitive than others — this is normal and indicates that the area is active and responding to stimulation.

Ear seeds are not intended for babies or children under 8 years old.

Remove ear seeds immediately if irritation occurs or you suspect infection. Do not use on broken or wounded skin.

Some points on the ear can be more challenging to keep seeds adhered to—especially areas like the Ear Apex or the Sympathetic point. If you find that the seed does not stay in place: You may simply massage the point instead or purchase AcuKITS press tacks.

Ear seeds are safe to wear in the shower. Try to keep them dry so the adhesive lasts longer.
